An update on Kim McGrath
Hi Friends:
I am sending this message to let everybody know what is going on with my wife Kim and my family. As you may or may not know, about 2 years ago Kim was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She had a number of different surgery’s, underwent chemotherapy for many months, and handled the processes like a true champion. Kim was feeling great.
Kim was 15 months removed from her last treatment, about a month ago she noticed a couple of small blotches on her skin. Due to her great instincts she went and got them biopsied. That biopsy came back as “Leukemia Cutis”, which is Leukemia of the skin. Naturally we were blown to pieces by this news.
As I said, Kim was feeling great and due to her good instincts we caught this in the Pre Leukemic stage. The bad part is the doctors have to treat ” Leukemia Cutis” the same way as if you came in the hospital at the later stages of leukemia. Which sucks….
This means more chemo, she is currently in the hospital and has completed her 7 days of chemo and they are saying a BONE MARROW transplant is next…. THIS IS WHERE ALL OF YOU GUYS COME IN… We really need your help with going and getting on the Bone Marrow registry, the idea is to find a Marrow match.
Its as easy as finding a Bone Marrow Drive and getting your mouth swabbed, or having the kit sent directly to you at your house, and you can send it back. I ask all of you to do this ASAP, this is something that is time sensitive. In order to help Kim, we have to be willing to help anybody, which is the right thing to do.

PRO — Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Taylor Robert (33) was clearly unstoppable at WORCS round 4 this weekend. Robert gated well in both races coming off the line in the top three on the dead engine starts. He cannoned his way to the front by the end of the first lap and started laying down faster and faster lap times. Though challenged by Mike Brown and Kyle Summers, neither rider could keep Robert in sight for very long. Robert’s performance on the fast, rough, sand and rock Havasu course was almost perfect and his 1-1 finish for round four places him securely at the top of the title chase. Continue reading

First Overall: Ty Renshaw, Jason Parsons, Jason Ramsey Kawasaki KX 450F
Ty Renshaw put down his mechanics gloves this last weekend and jumped on the bike to do a little riding of his own. He recruited Jason Parsons and Jason Ramsey and ran off with the overall win at this years Glen Helen 6 hour Race. It was anything but easy as mother nature had one last go at southern California and unloaded on Devore, Ca. Rain all day Saturday left the MX track unable to be used. The course was kept to the ridges, the pavilion, the truck track, and some single track thrown in. During the race there was everything from sun shine, rain, hail, and even snow. If you weren’t prepared, you weren’t finishing.
Ty did a stellar job of bike prep. as they had no bike problems. After taking the early lead, they ran strong till the three hour point. Then Jason Parsons, in his first race back after knee surgery, became a magnet for every rider who couldn’t keep his bike straight. After being center punched off his bike twice, while passing lapped riders, they dropped back to second. With a little luck and determination, they were able to claw back into the lead by the last hour and rode uncontested to the win.
Thanks to all our sponsors for your support. Great job Ty for tackling this on your own and claiming the win. It’s awesome to start off the endurance series with a win. We will be looking to the 12 hour and then getting back the 24 hour trophy.
